Criteria
Use criteria to rank your search results by describing more nuanced or inference based requirements.
Launching Criteria
When running a prompt, you will see the option to configure or review the criteria initially populated by Juicebox.
While configuring your criteria, consider:
- Criteria are natural language instructions. You can describe anything that may be applicable.
- Be clear and concise. If a colleague wouldn’t understand the criteria, the AI won’t either.
- You can edit, add, and remove criteria as needed.
- Juicebox uses all 30+ data sources when assessing each profile against the criteria.
- They are ranked from most to least important, and can be re-ranked using the left-hand selector.
Creating a Preset
Presets are pre-defined sets of sourcing criteria that can be reused across multiple projects or searches to save you time and keep searches consistent. You can start with one of Juicebox’s pre-built out presets or create your own custom preset to quickly launch criteria for projects with similar requirements or ongoing, evergreen roles.
To create a preset:
- From your project’s search, head into your criteria
- Create the list of criteria you would like to use across all roles related to that project
- Click “Save Preset” in the top right corner of the criteria screen
- Name the criteria based on the role, and add a description if helpful
- Click “Save Preset”
To reuse a preset saved by you, your team, or Juicebox:
- From your project’s search, head into your criteria
- Click “Select Preset” in the top right
- From the list available, select the preset you would like to reuse
- Click “Apply Preset” in the top right
- Click “Update” to run your results
Evaluating Results
Once you update your criteria and run your results, candidates will appear in a ranked view, giving you the best matched candidates right off the bat. Each profile will receive a score against the set criteria, and will be shown as:
- Good Match (Green thumbs up): signifies that the criteria are fulfilled, either through explicit mention on the candidate’s profile or through AI inference.
- Potential fit (Yellow thumbs up): suggests that the criteria are likely met but with some ambiguity, or that there is some evidence missing.
- Not a match (Red stop sign): indicates that there is no evidence that the criteria are met based on the information available.
To gain a deeper understanding of the candidates in our search results, click on Review or the candidate’s name to open a detailed evaluation page.
Review
When “reviewing” candidates, your criteria will populate next to each candidate’s profile. From here, you can interact with each criteria listed to see exactly where in the profile that candidate’s experience is coming from to help you make a quicker, more data backed decision.
If you like the candidate and think they are qualified, you can add the candidate to your project’s shortlist (recommended) or sequence them directly. If you want to come back to the candidate, you can skip them and move on to the next.
Candidate profile
Clicking on a candidate’s name will open up their full profile in Juicebox.
On the left-hand side of the profile, you will find (in order of appearance):
- Candidate name
- Linked platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Github, etc.) to the right of the candidate’s name
- Contact information
- Criteria match analysis
- A comprehensive overview of the candidate’s work experience, education, and skills
On the right-hand side of the profile, you will find (in order of appearance):
- Individual and team notes
- Sequences the candidate has been enrolled into
- Overall team profile activity (e.g., who else has viewed this candidate, who revealed their contact information, etc.)
- Projects this candidate is shortlisted across
- Overdue and upcoming tasks tied to your account for this candidate
To action on individual or multiple candidates, you can also switch between the Classic and Table views provided.
Classic View
Use Juicebox’s classic view to individually review candidates and their match analysis.
Bulk Select
Bulk select the top 5, 10, 50+ matches by clicking on the checkbox next to “Matches” and identifying how many profiles you want to bulk select and action off of (i.e., add to your shortlist, sequence or export to your ATS).
Table View
Use Juicebox’s table view to efficiently review or action off of candidates based on their overall match percentage.
In addition to the Review button and clicking on a candidate’s name to open their full profile, you can also set up this table to fit your preferred view by interacting with the four icons on the right-hand side.
In order of appearance, these icons have the following functionality:
- Magnifying Glass: Search for a candidate’s profile directly
- People Plus: Pull in more candidates by evaluating more in batches of 500. Please note, this is only for search pools of 500+, and does max out at 5,000 profiles.
- Columns: Tailor the columns shown to only show the information you care about (e.g., Job Title, Company, Education, and Location)
- Rows: Hide or dim candidates from the table that have already been viewed
Bulk Select
Bulk select the perfect (100%), strong (75%+), average (50%+), and weak (25%+) matches by clicking on the checkbox next to “Matches” and then adding those candidates who meet that match rate and above to your shortlist, a sequence or directly to your ATS.
